Instituto Tecnológico de Galicia

Galician Institute of Technology was established in 1991 as a non-profit foundation by the Official Associations of Architects, Civil Engineers and Industrial Engineers of Galicia, and declared a foundation of Galician interest by the Regional Government of Galicia on 18 June 1991.
We are a national Technology Centre recognized by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and the State Department for Research, Development and Innovation since 2012. We are privately-funded and based in A Coruña, and our aim is to improve the competitiveness of companies, organizations and professionals through R&D&I and differential technology. The Internet of Things (IoT), Bidgata, Industry 4.0., Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence or nanotechnology are the tools we use in the industrial, energy, environmental and construction sectors, where we are present as the only certifying body in Spain that awards the international BREEAM® certification of sustainable construction.
We are certified by our own R&D&I and quality management system and we are members of the governing council of the Spanish Federation of Technological Centers (FEDIT) since 2010. Our´s managing director currently holds the Presidency of this Federation, comprising 34 technological centers that employ 3,341 people and generate revenues of 247 million euros.
